Java Full Stack Engineer

Key Role:

Design, develop, test, and implement software systems using microservices and Java. Analyze the development of automated test procedures. Work independently and with team members in a fast-paced Agile development environment under the direction and supervision of a senior technical lead. Write documentation of new or existing programs to ensure effective communication. Apply leading-edge principles, theories, and concepts to complex client problems and contribute to the advancement of industry knowledge in the area of expertise. Solve complex technical problems of critical importance to the organization's technical direction. Act as an expert in the field and lead the development and implementation of key technologies for the organization.

Basic Qualifications:

-9+ years of experience with object-oriented programming

-5+ years of experience with Java development

-Experience with building and testing Web services, including REST or SOAP

-Ability to obtain a security clearance required

-BA or BS degree

Additional Qualifications:

-2+ years of experience with microservices and DevOps

-2+ years of experience with AWS

-Experience in working with AWS RDS, DynamoDB, or S3

-Knowledge of one or more of the following: Agilecraft, JIRA, Git, Kubernetes, Apigee, OpenShift (OCP), or Docker

-Knowledge of open source technologies, including spring boot, Angular, React, Apache Camel, or Kafka

-Public Trust clearance

-AWS Certification
