ManTech Senior Principal Systems Administrator in Hanover, Maryland
Job Duties and Responsibilities
As a Senior Systems Administrator you will perform and lead system administration functions for Windows and Linux-based machines and provide system support for a large scale network. Must Be a Self-starter with a background in VMWare, Hardware, Networking, Windows and Unix/Linux systems administration and configuration. Details of position below:
Desktop Services support in multiple buildings to include:
• Mac workstation Support
• Linux workstation Support
• Windows workstation Support
• Hardware installations/modifications
• Thin client installations/modifications
• Troubleshoot networking problems and setting different VLANs on switch ports
• Create and modify VMs
• Improve lab processes
• Work with tier 1-tier 3 team members to manage all labs
• Support upgrading/downgrading system firmware/operating system version and installing applications
• Computer Hardware knowledge (prefer A+ certified)
• Thin client knowledge
• 10 years related experience
• TS/SCI w/Poly
Requires Bachelor s degree (in Computer Science or related field) or equivalent, and ten to twelve years of related experience.
