Northrop Grumman is seeking an Employee Communications Representative 3. This position will be located at our corporate headquarters in Falls Church, VA.
The ideal candidate must be able to perform a wide array of project tasks independently, drive projects to completion, develop creative solutions, manage multiple tasks with competing priorities and handle variable workloads.
The Employee Communications Representative will support the Talent Management and Development team in the development and delivery of employee messages and communications campaigns. Candidate should have excellent writing and editing skills, as well as strong organization and project-management skills. Individual will be responsible for developing and executing internal communication strategies and initiatives, among other responsibilities and projects. Candidate must be collaborative, creative and have the ability to juggle multiple priorities/projects while producing high-quality work. Ability to work independently, self-directed and as part of a team is required with demonstrated interpersonal and communication skills.
Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Write, edit and prepare employee messages and occasional executive messages and speeches as well as contribute to internal company publications and communications.
Assist in the development and execution of strategic communications plans for programs, activities, organizations and events.
Develop, execute and support communication strategies for new initiatives and existing employee programs that support organizational change and enhance employee engagement.
Assign and review artwork.
Provide web support in the form of writing and editing web content.

This position is full time in Falls Church, VA, and reports to the Manager, Talent Management and Development Communications.
Bachelor’s degree with 6 years of experience in communications, journalism or related field or 4 years of experience with a master’s degree.
Proficient in Microsoft Office suite (Word, SharePoint, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
Well-versed in Associated Press Stylebook rules.
Prefer 5 years experience in Corporate Communications.
Experience with SharePoint 2010 and 2013.
Knowledge of HTML.
Web experience (i.e., writing for the web and/or content management experience).
