Kaizen Approach, Inc. is currently hiring for a Network Engineer to support a client in Columbia, MD.
Looking for a Network Engineer to design, configure, test and install LAN, CAN, and WAN equipment. The selected candidate will be responsible for creating network diagrams and documentation, perform site surveys, create parts list, configure and test equipment, coordinate outages and install/activate circuits and network equipment.
Developing requirements from a project’s inception to its conclusion for a particular IT subject matter area (i.e. simple to complex systems).
Assisting other project members with analysis and evaluation and with the preparation of recommendations for system improvements, optimization, development, and/or maintenance efforts in the following specialties:
Bachelor’s degree in a technically relevant field + 5 years’ experience,
DoD 8570 IAT Level 2 certification, and experience in the following areas:
Experience with Fibre Channel
Minimum 3 years’ experience with network equipment (Brocade, Cisco, Nexus, etc)
Experience with encryptors (KG, etc.)
Experience with Enterprise level infrastructure (WAN, CAN)
Familiar with creating documents using MS Visio
Applicant must be able/willing to travel to CONUS sites up to 10% of the time.

o Software and/or software development methodologies
o Life-cycle management
o Modeling and simulation
Experience working with intelligence community (IC ITE)
Experience with Network Architecture
A TS / SCI Full scope polygraph security clearance is required.
An additional 4 years of related experience may be substituted in lieu of a degree.
