Eagle Ray, Inc. Logistician II in Baltimore, Maryland
Eagle Ray is hiring a Logistician II to work with the Asset Project Office (APO) in support of the Coast Guard (CG) surface acquisition programs by developing and reviewing logistics products and preparing for the introduction of new surface Product Lines (PLs) and systems. In addition to logistical support, the APO provides systems engineering and integration, business process support, and decisions analysis.
Eagle Ray will provide logistics products in support of Maintenance Planning, Product & Technical Data, Supply Support (SS), Packaging, Handling, Storage & Transportation (PHS&T), Design Interface, and Support & Test Equipment (S&TE) requirements for the Offshore Patrol Cutter (OPC).
Provide integrated logistics and customer support to US Coast Guard Offshore Patrol Cutter program, establish a cohesive, integrated approach to managing inter- and intra- program ILS issues.
Ensure sustainment parts are available to the users when needed, but also minimize the cost of maintaining sustainment parts inventories.
Ensure deployment spares are available to the users when they are needed.
Establish adequate Preventive Maintenance of assigned systems to maximize Operational Availability and Reliability while minimizing total ownership cost including the man-hours and costs of performing maintenance.
Ensure user and fleet training is of sufficient duration, frequency and depth to support tactical employment, operation and maintenance of assigned systems.
Ensure combatant craft technical documentation is available, accurate, adequately detailed, and properly promulgated to support user training, operation and maintenance.
Ensure adequate support equipment is identified, acquired, fielded and maintained to support assigned programs.
Establish and maintain proper facilities to produce, operate, train, maintain and store assigned Offshore Patrol Cutter program.
5-10 yrs. of experience
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent.
Working knowledge of computers and software programs such as Microsoft Office, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Knowledge of Logistics for ships.
Knowledge of military logistics.
Knowledge of budgeting and accounting principles.
Skill in program development and execution.
Skill in coordinating activities, evaluating data and establishing priorities.
Skill in both verbal and written communication and presentation.
Ability to work independently.
USCG Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) training.
